The Benelux Blues Page

This site gives you a fine, almost complete overview of Blues bands in Belgium, Holland and Luxemburg. It also contains a very nice gig guide, but be carefull: it's all striktly for Blues lovers.

Yes indeedely doodely, it's still the coolest amongst all Rockabilly festivals! And your favourite Franky band will play there in October 2000!

Biends and frands

Now here's a great band! And they're wonderful guys too! This link will take you straight to El Casa Del Franky.

Franky Dell Rio's other band, a Rockabilly Blues band in which he plays the drums.

El Fish. Singer/guitarist Filip and bass player Jan produced our debut CD "The Full Franky". Their band may be a bit too experimental for some of you, but they sure are technically the best Roots band in Belgium, hell, maybe even Europe!

Now here's a band that invented the word "Cool". Our favourite Surfpunk band in the whole wide world. AND THEIR GOGO GIRL SHOWS HER TITS!

Here's a good friend of ours who's helped us more than a few times when we were in trouble. A great piano player who plays a lot of (of course) Jerry Lee Lewis.

We admit, this should've been the worst band ever: they're German and they play Country. But Hell, at this moment they're The Frankies favourite European band! Tell 'em Yee-Haa from us!

Here's another of the Frankies' faves. The best thing that ever happened to Country since Dave Duddley!

Combine Swing, Jive and Ska with UK's most talented singer, craziest drummer, firmest bassplayer and best f*ckin' sax player you ever heard, and whaddaya get? It's BIG, alright!

Here's some very good friends of ours. Singer/harpplayer Howlin' Bill is the man who put down that wild solo on "Honey Bunn".

Once again: very good friends and a fantastic band. Super plays with some of them in a Rockabilly band called Clark & The Aces.
